We invite you to engage in this self-learning program composed of bite-sized modules exploring different strategies to effectively manage episodes of severe hypoglycemia.

You can pick and choose, at your own pace, the modules that are of the most interest to you, and therefore, tailor the program to your learning needs.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this program, participants will be better able to:

  • Explain the characteristics, incidence, and risk factors for severe hypoglycemia in people living with type 2 diabetes
  • Incorporate effective communication strategies with patients and caregivers to minimize the risks and occurrence of severe hypoglycemia
  • Apply strategies to effectively manage episodes of severe hypoglycemia

This 1-credit-per-hour self-learning activity has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 1.75 Mainpro+ certified credits.
